Waipio Valley Surprise Proposal

Had the pleasure of  photographing this couple’s surprise proposal.  They hiked down into Waipio Valley where he surprised her by proposing on the sand.  Meanwhile I was sitting at a distance with a long lens pretending to be photographing the surfers in the background.  After the proposal I introduced myself and we started doing more formal photographs.
