Big Island Wedding Photographer: Kukio Beach

A beautiful wedding at the beach at Kukio on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.  The couple, their two sons and other family joined together at an hour before sunset to exchange leis, rings and vows.

A turtle was on the beach from when they arrived till after they left, making for a lasting memory for this couple and their family.

They exchanged a pink orchid lei and a maile lei.  The maile lei was once only reserve for the royalty in Hawaii, but is now commonly seen in weddings in Hawaii.
