A-Bay (Anaehoomalu Bay)

A-Bay is located 35-40 minutes north of Kona town.  Long white sandy beach with palm trees, lava rocks, and a lagoon.  The beach is a public beach and therefore requires a permit to have a wedding.  Your officiant will be able to help you out with that.  A-Bay is located behind the Marriot resort.

A-Bay is unique in that it also has a lot of beautiful hawaiian plants.  Not all beach locations in Hawaii have both sand and lush foliage.

Although a public beach, it is large enough that you can find a spot away from everyone else and  still have an intimate wedding.  One of my favorite locations for a wedding or an engagement shoot.
