Big Island portrait photographer Bob Brown photographed this family at A-Bay, or Anaehoomalu Bay.  The family was celebrating their Mom and Dad’s 50th anniversary and decided to have photographs done of all the family as well as the individual members.

A-Bay is a great location with palm trees, lava rock, ocean, sand and a lagoon.

A vow renewal on the Big Island of Hawaii, on the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa Resort.  They renewed their vows with the parents and two girls.  One of my favorite moments was when their daughter left her seat to get a better view of her Mom and Dad renewing their vow to one another.

Following the ceremony the had a champagne toast and then portraits of the family and couple around the resort.

Kathy and Art were married at the Mauna Lani Hotel at sunset.  Bob Brown of Eye Expression Photography photographed the wedding.  They did a lei exchange, had the blowing of the conch shell, and sunset photos on the beach.

Kelly and Matt were married at the Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii.  They were married on the lawn in front of the chapel with the beautiful ocean as their backdrop.  After the ceremony they continued with photos around the property at the gazebo, on bridges and with a waterfall as a background.

A photo shoot with the Pregnancy Center in Kona, Hawaii on the Big Island.  The center wanted to capture the services it offered along with some of the families that it has helped.  It was a pleasure to photograph an organization that helps mothers/families free of charge; offering free pregnancy tents, counseling, offering birth classes and other educational resources.

Photographed a family in Hawaii with both family and maternity photos.  They wanted a way to remember the time of pregnancy and to document their family.

Big Island Wedding Photographer, Bob Brown, photographed this wedding at the Mauna Lani Hotel.  The couple was from Germany celebrating here on the Big Island with a wedding on the lawn over looking the beautiful Hawaiian ocean.  They were married at the Eva Parker Woods cottage on the hotel property.

We took photos around that area, then went to a private bungalow for a private dinner and more photos.  The couple was super fun and even posed in the big soaker tub in the bathroom.

Wedding Photographer Big Island

A great couple recreating a photo from 37 years ago.  Married 37 years ago on the island of Kauai, they came back to the Big Island to celebrate their marriage and to have me recreate their wedding photo.

Starting in the room as they got ready with their leis and dressing the same as their original photo.  Then we walked around the beautiful resort taking different photos.

When I first met the couple the introduced themselves as a “couple of old hippies”  They were certainly laid back and were a lot of fun.  Congrats to you guys on 37 years.
